Community Alliance Church Wednesday Night Kids Club Dear Parents/Guardians, It’s time for another great year of Wednesday night children’s programs! Cubbies and Kids Club will run from September 3, 2024, to April 1, 2025. We offer a free meal for all families of those involved in our programs at 6:00 pm each Wednesday. Our programs begin directly after the meal at 6:30 pm and end at 7:45 pm. God has blessed our church with many wonderful leaders who enjoy working with children and desire that each child grows in his or her faith. Our programs include worship, teaching time, game time, snacks, and small group Bible study. If you have not registered your child(ren) online, please register them the first night you come. Each week your child will sign in at the registration table, and you must sign your child(ren) out. No child will be released to anyone who does not have written parental permission to transport that child. Achievements: For grades first through sixth, your child will receive points for attendance, prayer during the previous week, bringing their Bible, and bringing a friend. Once points accumulate, they can choose a prize from our prize cart. We also award prizes using good incentives via a punch card system. If a leader sees a child behaving well, acting kind, etc. the child will receive a punch on their punch card. Ten punches equals a trip to the prize cart. We have Bible verses for children to memorize, and prizes will be awarded during the closing activities on April 2, 2025, for verses memorized. Please note that children grades one through three have shorter versions of the verses. Please pick up the appropriate list of memory verses for your child(ren). Calendar: We meet each Wednesday night with a few exceptions which are noted on the calendar. We follow Towanda school district’s inclement weather schedule so if Towanda closes early or cancels because of weather we will not have club meetings that evening. Sick Child Policy: It is our goal to provide a healthy and safe environment for all children. Please be considerate of other children when deciding whether to allow your child(ren) to participate in Wednesday night programs. Children should be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to Wednesday night activities.
